Nick is a US-licensed attorney who concentrates his practice on international disputes and cross-border corporate and commercial transactions. Nick’s transactional practice includes counseling clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital deals, and general corporate and business matters. His dispute resolution experience covers representation before international arbitral tribunals and US federal courts. Nick has counseled clients of all sizes ranging from large multinationals to early stage companies and start-ups. He has worked with businesses across a number of industries such as real estate, mining, energy, waste management, telecoms, IT and fintech. Prior to joining the firm, Nick was a senior associate at the Sofia office of CMS Cameron McKenna where he was involved in cross-border transactions and international investment disputes on behalf of foreign investors. Nick began his career at a boutique Chicago law firm where he practiced international trade law and has appeared before state and federal courts.
Nick also volunteers as counsel on various public international law matters and has assisted international organizations representing victims of human rights violations and atrocities in Africa and the Middle East.
Nick has an LL.M. from Columbia Law School in New York and a J.D., cum laude, from UIC John Marshall Law School in Chicago where he served as a Lead Articles Editor on the John Marshall Law Review Board.
